Hull City Council wants to hear your views about its proposal to locate a park and ride facility on the site of the former Hedon aerodrome. Hedon waste incinerator consultation due to end

A month long consultation ends this Thursday 7th May 2009 on plans to issue an operating permit for a waste-burning incinerator at Saltend, Hedon. This is possibly the last opportunity for local residents to express their views.

The BBC has reported that a month long consultation begins today (7th April, 2009) on plans to issue an operating permit for a waste-burning incinerator at Saltend.
The Waste Recycling Group Ltd already has planning permission to build an incinerator but has now re-submitted an application for a permit to operate the facility.
