AROUND SPRING of this year I contacted the town clerk via email, the latest on 27th Nov, in regard to a sign that I hoped would be placed near to the Kingstown Hotel, possibly adjacent or on the Preston sign, this would say “Leading to the Historic Town of Hedon”.

A new voluntary youth club for Hedon will open its doors to the town’s young people for the first time tonight Friday, 16 October 2009.

A report to be presented to the East Riding Council today claims that there is not enough evidence that foul odours from Yorkshire Water’s waste water treatment plant are causing a public nuisance.
