Following initial consultations the East Riding of Yorkshire LINk (Local Involvement Network) is to conduct investigations into two major issues or difficulties:
Getting appointments with a Doctor (General Practitioner);
Getting transport to hospitals (i.e. Castle Hill, Bridlington and Scarborough Hospitals).

The Hull Daily Mail has reported the first case of swine flu confirmed in Hull. The Health Protection Agency confirmed three new cases yesterday in Yorkshire and the Humber including the one from Hull.
