Knitting, nattering Christmas display!

Hedon Library Christmas display

THE Knit & Natter Group meets for the last time this year in the Hedon Library on Thursday 11th December 2014.

The group normally meets once every two weeks on a Thursday afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm. But will not meet again until Thursday 8th January 2015.

Whilst a lot of the town’s residents may be unaware of the knitting group’s regular gatherings at the Library, it is likely that they will have seen some of the excellent work produced by the group. The window display in the library has been knitted by the group members!

Nativity Knit and NatterHave a closer look at the Hedon Library window and you will see that the toys on the Christmas tree, the winter scene, the stockings advent calendar which is counting down to Christmas – and even the Nativity scene, have all been knitted!

The group is always looking for new members (including men – the group has one male member) so go along and have a look to see what happens! You will be most welcome and there is tea and coffee available.

PS: This article prompted by window display competition winner Sandra Ramsden of Cinderella.
