PAINTINGS depicting the perils of working at sea in the trawling industry will feature in the opening exhibition at the Hedon Museum on Saturday 7th March 2015.
Katy Miller the museum’s press officer, says: “I am happy to announce that when Hedon Museum opens again, our first exhibition will be ‘The Wide Open Sea’. Beautiful paintings by Richard Hayton and Reg Moss will adorn the walls, depicting famous trawlers, tragedy, bravery and rescue on the North Sea.
“A big thank you to all who have contacted us. Our exhibition space is now all booked and we are looking forward to holding some very unique and interesting exhibitions in the coming year.”
“The Wide Open Sea” exhibition will be open every Saturday and Wednesday for a few weeks only from Saturday 7th March 2015, 10am – 4pm. Refreshments are available.
