Festive at the Haven Arms, Havenside

Haven Arms Adv5-001HAVEN ARMS has issued its ‘last call’ to book for its Christmas events. As well as the special Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve sittings, there will also be a disco in the bar Christmas Eve and New Years Eve from Matt Rudd Absolute 80’s Radio – free entry for both bar events.

Christmas Day 25th December 2015 – 12.00 noon for 12.30am start:
Glass of Champagne or Bucks Fizz on arrival.

Sweet Potato and Ginger Soup with Creme Fraiche, Brioche soldiers
Oak Smoked Salmon served simply with Capers and Lemon, Brown Bread & Butter
Prawn cocktail Tian, tomato salsa, avocado puree, bread sticks
Duck and Game Parfait, Port, Melba Toast

Second Course
Carpaccio of Butternut Squash, Pinenuts, Pumpkin Seeds, Micro herbs

St Clements Sorbet with Caramelised Orange and Lemon Zest

Traditional whole Roast Turkey Served with all the trimmings
Roast Sirloin of Beef Served with a red wine jus
Roast Loin of Pork with a Walnut and Citrus Fruits Forcemeat Stuffing
Wellington of Grilled Vegetables, Pesto, Feta Cheese

all served with a selection of seasonal vegetables from the carvery
