Wall-to-wall colour at Fireside Quilters Exhibition

Jane McMillan and Anita Kay Fireside QuiltersThe ‘wall-to-wall’ colour hits you as soon as you walk into the upstairs exhibition room at Hedon Museum. The display by the Fireside Quilters looks beautiful. Perhaps one of the most colourful exhibits ever!

The Fireside Quilters have about 20 members and have been in existence for 30 years.

Members are each taking it in turn to attend the museum on open days and share the group’s passion for all things quilting with visitors. Last Saturday (14th May), it was the turn of Jane McMillan who has been with the group since 2005, and Anita Kay a relative novice of 18 months to meet and greet.

The Fireside Quilters exhibition takes place at Hedon Museum on Wednesdays and Saturdays with the final day being Saturday, 4th June 2016. Look for the signs around town to guide you to the museum.

Open 10am – 4pm. Free admission. Refreshments available.
